The OUFC Canteen, along with sponsorship and registration fees, is a key source of funding for equipment such as playing shirts, balls, goal nets and the like.  Without sufficient funding from the canteen, we would otherwise need to charge higher registration fees.

We have recently welcomed our new Canteen Manager, Diane, to help ensure that the OUFC canteen can be a reliable source of funds BUT to be successful, we need the support of club members to help out just as we do with volunteers on the Committee and as team coaches and managers.

What we ask…

Twice during the season, each team manager will be asking for volunteers to help out in the canteen and BBQ for a couple of hours.  We ask that YOU step up and contribute

Diane will provide each volunteer with guidance so you’re not thrown in at the deep end.

We look forward to welcoming you as a volunteer in the canteen very soon.

Jim Baker
Vice President, OUFC

Please read the below message from CCF regarding Football and the current stay-at-home orders from the NSW Government

Dear Clubs,

The NSW Government has today announced that the stay-at-home orders have been put in place across all of Greater Sydney, including the Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Wollongong, from 6pm today (Saturday, 26 June 2021) until 11.59pm on Friday, 9 July 2021.

Significantly, the NSW Government has made it very clear that community sport will not be permitted during this period.

Therefore, all football activities within Central Coast are suspended immediately until 11.59pm on Friday, 9 July 2021.

What does this mean for Football in those areas?

  • Effective immediately, all games, training and other football activities must cease;
  • All Football competitions and leagues will be suspended until 11.59pm on Friday, 9 July 2021;
  • Any football activity which takes place during this period is not sanctioned by Central Coast Football and, therefore, the Personal Accident insurance cover that is provided as part of a player’s registration may not apply.

As far as the structure of the competitions going forward is concerned we will have discussions next week and advise accordingly.

Please stay safe.
